Randy Noble, Texas Genco

Here are some images of T.H. Wharton Oil Storage Facility. We finally have a storage area that stays neat and clean. It is very easy to keep track of the oil quantity and the dispensers. This has raised the level of awareness with operations and mechanics.

A couple of extra features we added to our storage tanks.

1. A desiccant breather system to keep oil clean and dry while in storage containers.

2. We push the oil through a 3 micron, water absorbing filter when transferring from the drums to the tanks. You can see all 8 filters under the dispenser handles.

We know the oil is going in clean and dry and the desiccants should keep it that way.
