Oil Analysis Without Particle Counting?

Ralph Pederson, Senior Specialty Engineer, Nuclear Management Company

I would not take this data away from the people charged with oversight of these plants' equipment. If the concern is return of value on data delivered then perhaps it is now pertain for me to review out sourcing this test as a blanket purchase order or put current update equipment with the plant chemistry department and provide training to operate and report by e-mail to all interested and pertenant personnel test results.

The elimination of this type of test on expensive vital operating equipment would be remiss to the operating personnel, management and ultimately equipment owners.
