Oil Analysis Without Particle Counting?

Spencer Anderson, PDM Tech, TLNA A.E. Staley

One should never assume that a new drum of Lubrication is free of particles that could Contaminate critical equipment. Power Generation could effect the entire plants operations, and Using Oil Analysis as a way of monitoring the health of your lubricant could save thousands of Dollars in down time.

I would continue using the Central Laboratory for the plants Oil Analysis and Also start up a program to train personnel in house on how to sample and use their own Oil Lab. This type of training in the long run could also save the power plant money.
